Information You Submit
A name, telephone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the outside provider that supplies those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. A direct message is used only to read and answer the request.
Automatic Technical Data
Our hosting keeps ordinary server logs: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We look at this in aggregate to keep the site healthy and to see which pages readers use. Cookies or similar technologies may support basic analytics and, where applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
Technical data supports site operation, fault diagnosis, traffic counts, and page improvements. We neither sell visitor lists nor create individual visitor profiles.
Links to Other Websites
We link out to county and state records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Their privacy policies, not ours, govern what you submit there. That is especially true of the sponsored search results, which a third-party company provides.
Who May Process Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
Data Security
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Florida's Digital Bill of Rights, Fla. Stat. ch. 501, part V, gives authenticated access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out rights when a business falls within the law's limited controller scope. It does not apply to every publisher and does not erase deeds, tax rolls, court files, or other public records. Because we retain little data, a request generally means checking contact mail and available logs. Use the Contact page. Requests about Florida, Volusia County, or Deltona public records must go to the custodian that holds them.
Policy Changes
Revisions will appear here. Continued use after a posted revision indicates acceptance of the new policy.
